The First Ever Blog By Moi

I've always found that it's easier to start in the middle of a story than it is to start at the beginning. The beginning is always the hardest, the scariest part. Endings are sad so the bit I've always liked is the middle. That's where all the exciting stuff happens. That's where the story REALLY starts, y'know?

I've always sucked at writing the beginnings of stories, which always does my head in because I LOVE writing but I hate starting a story. Sometimes I'll write the middle out first, or just pick out scenes and write those down instead. I like that better, because its almost as if I haven't written the beginning, but I have. Does that make sense?

See, what I just did there was writing something that doesn't really fit at the beginning, but still works well. So now I don't have to do the whole awkward introductions or anything, which is always a bonus.

I WILL introduce myself, though. Just my name, and only my first name at that. It should be pretty obvious, actually. I'm sure my name is somewhere on this post. Right, my name. Hey, I'm Chloe. Nice to meet you, mysterious reader who probably won't even comment.

There's one thing you should know about me. I get distracted pretty easily. It's in my nature. My mother thinks its because I have such an active imagination that its constantly creating new ideas which distract me. I think it's just because I'm a little bit weird like that. Who knows?

...Don't answer that question, mind. That's what's called a rhetorical question. You don't answer it. I think I'm supposed to answer it, but I won't. I mean, I don't even know the answer. That's the point of a question. You don't know, so you ask someone so they can tell you.

Excuse me, my hot chocolate is ready to be consumed. Please enjoy this picture of some icicles I took this year.

Bye!
